studioThe Art of Portrait Photography - So you’re interested in portrait photography, and you want to know what separates snapshots from art?

Digital Photography, 10 Things to be Thankful For - This was a post from thanksgiving so its a bit old but its good none the less.

Jamie Stoker - Some good candid shots and great overall style.

You Screwed Up: Congratulations - National Geographic photographer Bill Allard famously said that in photography, interesting failures are more valuable than boring successes. That’s a thought that has been sticking in my mind recently as I try to find ways to give more of an edge to my lighting.

That concludes this weeks list of interesting postings that I found to share. Please check them all out as they all offer interesting perspectives and techniques. Personally I find the posting from Strobist.com the most thought provoking, as it forces you to rethink some of the “acceptable” images from any shoot.

With that being said, get out there and start shooting!
